Harnessing the Power of Real
How do you even begin to talk about a genre that contains Life on Earth, Beyonce's Homecoming and Tiger King? Our task was to find the thread that holds it all together and speaks to the impact these titles have on their audience.
As we looked closer, we realized the defining character of all non-fiction content was a basis in "real-ness" that Netflix viewers craved. Netflix agreed, and a global marketing platform was born.
"This has the power to move us. But seeing the stories behind them, the struggles, the hopes, the real person, THIS has the power to move us in a whole new direction."
For Netflix, the Power of REAL has given them a working platform and an organizing principle for their ongoing work. The Power of REAL is set to roll out as a multi-year campaign and platform to celebrate Netflix's creative and curatorial content.
