Bringing the Heat
Nike’s quarterly Global Employee Meetings (GEMs) are the one time that Nikes entire global workforce, including Converse and Jordan, is tuned in to learn about the newest, hottest, and most exciting things the brands have been up to. Each GEM is hosted by Nike's CEO John Donahoe, filmed live at unique locations, and features a special guest.
To bring some continuity to this crucial meeting, Nike asked us to create a modular intro title sequence that could be repurposed to showcase new brand moments, guests, and location-specific content each quarter.
Pulling together a vast library of Nike footage, we set to work sifting through to find a cohesive story that would reflect all the excitement happening across the three Nike brands. Then set it to the “perfect” track, edit, and finish the piece, weaving a distilled story through the minute long video.
The result is a high energy intro that is broadcast to six continents and viewed by every Nike employee.
