Nike Ja Morant
In today’s NBA, Ja Morant is one of the most exciting players on the court. To capture this energy, Nike asked us to put together a sizzle reel of some of Ja’s most important moments.
The Progression
With the recent launch of Ja Morant’s signature shoe, Nike has made clear that they believe he is an important part of their basketball world. To celebrate this partnership, they included Ja in a recent global event to introduce him to the entire Nike team.
The lead-in to his appearance was a hot sizzle reel that would showcase his amazing on-court abilities, but also celebrate his new shoe and some of the activations around that. We worked with the Nike archives to find footage and cut that with found media and a high energy soundtrack to pull the piece together. To weave this into a story, we chose to focus on his progression from a kid with talent to a global phenomenon.
This reel was shared to the entire Nike organization globally and was successful in sharing the energy that Ja Morant has sparked within Nike.
