Customization

Customization creates a memorable moment where consumers can co-create and connect with your brand in ways that traditional retail and events can’t quite match.

Whether customization is the main attraction, or part of a larger event, we can design, build, program, and staff your activation, no matter the scale.

Customization can be as simple as applied embellishments or as elaborate as cut and sew, laser etching, and dip dyeing. Following are some of the available customization processes.

Heat Press

Simple and efficient, the heat press enables consumers to mix and match designs and placements, while watching the process in real time. Pre-embellished designs on vinyl transfers or patches are the most common heat press items.

Output specs: 2 heat presses can produce ~60 items an hour.

Vinyl Cutting

A step up from the heat press options, cut vinyl provides even more personalization options. Design options can include "fill in the blank" options where consumers can add their personal touch to a pre approved design or saying. Custom designs are then printed, weeded, and heat pressed on the merchandise in real time.

Output Specs: ~12 items an hour per cutter.  

Ink Gun Printing

A unique hands-on experience for consumers, the Ink gun gives consumers a DIY vibe - they can even add words or numbers to their merchandise, using the ink gun themselves. Designs are limited to numbers and letters, and specific fonts can be uploaded as needed.

Output Specs: 2 ink guns can produce ~24 tees an hour. 

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a fun and special experience to watch, and produces great social content. Screenprinting is typically slower than heat pressed options, but consumers really feel like their merchandise is being made just for them. Typical items printed on-site are clothing and posters.

Screen printing requires a dryer on-site

Output specs: ~25 items per hour per station.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a premium, timeless apparel embellishment that consumers love. Adding their name or number to a garment creates immediate value. Custom designs can be viewed on iPads which read directly to the embroidery machine, creating a smooth, seamless process.

Output Specs: ~12 units per hour, with complex designs taking more time on-machine.

Engraving

A premium, unique embellishment for clients looking to produce custom jewelry and tags or customize metal items like water bottles. The engraver is capable of customizing items in real time, creating a personalized forever piece for consumers. 

Output specs: Variable based on machine, item, and design.

Dip Dyeing

Dip dyeing gives products a unique finish creating a "one of one" item. Consumers can watch in real time as experts custom dye their item, for a truly unique experience.

Direct to Garment Printing

Direct to Garment (DTG) printing allows consumers to create their own designs on the iPad program. The program then reads directly to the DTG and outputs their artwork directly on their garment of choice.

Output specs: 1 DTG can produce ~30 items an hour with fully customizable designs.

Laser Cutting
Laser Etching

The laser machine has the ability to cut or etch onto a variety of surfaces. Can be used to cut material used for embroidery, creating a fully customizable product. Other options include etching onto a wide range of materials, from metal to leather to wood.

Cut & Sew

From the design to the materials, we can create fully customized merchandise. By laser cutting materials, and then applying to garments using the embroidery machine, we can create true one of a kind products using a variety of materials.
