Pioneers in the field of portable wine, Union Wine wanted to tell the story of all the ways they were already being good stewards to the earth. This story grew into what became an invitation and rally cry to do more, care more, and really, just give a damn.

What started with a humble donation to The Nature Conservancy turned into an important collaboration, leading Union Wine to elevate their messaging about their years-long commitment to responsible wine making.
Union Wine was already operating as one of the most sustainable brands in their industry. And with the announcement of the Nature Conservancy collaboration, we helped them realize they not only had a great story to tell, they had an opportunity to invite others to join their efforts.
Oregon wine is defined by water and so Union Wine released a water-centric package that donated a percentage from every can sale to the Nature Conservancy. This was a great start, but in order to elevate the effort and create a more sustained approach Union Wine needed an umbrella concept that would declare their position and serve as a rally cry to enlist other. From this, “Give a Damn” was born, marrying perfectly with their “Pinkies Down” ethos.
Armed with the overarching concept, we began crafting a messaging and rollout strategy, campaign visual language, and all assets for the campaign, which included digital, motion, OOO, and print.
Appearing in all their key channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email, retail, and even their own website, this environment-focused brand story was their defining campaign of the year.
